MONTAGUE – William Dale Pickett, 57, passed away April 28, 2017 in Montague, TX.
A graveside service will be at 10 a.m. May 6 at Ringgold Cemetery.
A lunch will follow the service at the Ringgold Elementary School.
William was born Nov. 16,1959 in Nocona.
He was a long-time pipeliner. William was one of the best hands a pipeline company ever had. He learned to pipeline from the best, his grandfather, David Huber Sr., and his uncle, William Dennis Huber Sr. William worked hard, played hard and loved well.
He was a proud and loving father, son, grandpa, brother and friend.
He is survived by his mother and step-father, Wanda and Bernard Brown, Montague; son, William Pickett and wife Rebecca, Bowie; grandchildren, Adam Pickett and Ailey Pickett; brother, Trenton Pickett; sister, Tressie Reid and husband Mike, Harvest, AL; nephew, Michael Reid and family; niece, Amanda Morris and family; and many friends.
Arrangements have been entrusted to The White Family Funeral Home.

Clifton Carl Robbins

BOWIE- Clifton Carl Robbins, 86, passed away on March 5, 2025 in Crowley.
A graveside service was at 2 p.m. on March 8, at Eastside Cemetery in Bridgeport with Pastor Ronnie Lawson officiating.
Clifton Robbins was born on Sept. 16, 1938 to Elvin and Loise (Pipkin) Robbins, at home in the southern part of Montague County. He grew up and graduated from Bowie High School and worked as a flagman before marrying his sweetheart of 40 years, Lois Jeannine Byrd. They moved to Wichita Falls where he worked for Parker Food Stores and Piggly Wiggly’s ShopRite foods as a produce manager and later produce supervisor. An opportunity arose and he changed employers to Bolner’s Fiesta Products of San Antonio. The family moved to Dallas and then Grapevine, before retiring after 25 years with Bolner. He graciously took care of his wife, Jeannine, until her death in 1997.
Clifton was fortunate to reunite with his childhood friend, Carla Johnson, after returning to Bowie, and they were married in 2008. He stood by her side until her death in 2024.
Clifton is preceded in death by his parents, Elvin and Loise Robbins; first wife, Jeannine Robbins; second wife, Carla Robbins; grandparents, Lee and Dora Ada Pipkin; son-in-law, Rick Mewbourn; brother, Windol Robbins and sister-in-law, Lupe Robbins.
Clifton is survived by his children, Kent Robbins and wife Susan, Crowley, Lisa Mewbourn, Grapevine and Mark Robbins and wife Karen, Waco; grandchildren, Chrystine Wilder (Brett), Sarah Henderson (Kirk), Stephanie Renfro (Eric), Risa Oberbeck (DJ) and Emilye Robbins; great-grandchildren, Elise and William Henderson, Julia and Meredith Wilder, Ethan, Owen, Abigail, Benjamin and Charlotte Renfro and Easton and Rylan Oberbeck; sister, Phyllis Hudson and husband Elton; along with many nieces and nephews.

Howard Waine Kee

SUSNET – Howard Waine Kee, 91, passed away on Feb. 25, 2025. He died peacefully due to complications from a stroke in late 2023.
Howard was born in Harrold, TX, on Feb. 6, 1934 to Ira and Henry Walker Kee.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Peggy (2015); mother, Ira Kee (1986); father, Henry Walker Kee (1962); his step-brother, James Knott (1966); and his step-sister, Maxine Knott (1992).
Howard is survived by his sons, Eddy Kee, Alexandria, VA, and Larry Kee, Sunset.
Eddy and Larry have children and grandchildren who remember their Papaw with love.
His ashes will be buried in the Sunset Cemetery next to his beloved wife, Peggy.

Charlene Cross Reardon

FORT WORTH – Charlene Cross Reardon, 72, left her family and friends for Heaven on Feb. 22, 2025.
A celebration will take place at 2 p.m. on March 3 at Vashti Cemetery in Vashti with Sam Campbell officiating.
Family will recieve friends prior to the service from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the White Family Funeral Home in Bowie.
Charlene was born on April 23, 1952 to Charley William “Jiggs” and Mary Estell (Shahan) Cross, Vashti. She went to Bellevue Inpendent School District for 12 years, graduating in 1970. Charlene then attended Midwestern State University in Wichita Falls. Afterwards, she worked many jobs, but her love was in the food service industry and culinary arts. Her last postition before passing was a baker. Charelene met the love of her life, Frank Reardon, in California. They married in Las Vegas, NV on Jan. 1, 1993.
The couple lived in California for many years. Frank had two children that she loved like her own. In 1994 they came home to Texas as fast as they could. Charlene enjoyed life. She never met a stranger and was always the life of the party. Sher cherished spending time with family and friends. Shw also loved books, gardening, baking, cooking and her Dallas Cowboys.
She is preceded in death by her father, Jiggs Cross; mother, Estelle, brother Charles Cross and stepson, Churck Reardon.
Charlene is survived by nieces, Alona Wilson and husband Rowdy, and Angela Horton and husband Richey; son, Brett Nelson, all of Texas; daughter-in-law, Lola Ledford; grandchildren, Adria Freeborn and husband John, Erin Shuman and husband Eric, Erick Reardon and wife Samantha; 13 great-grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter, all of Ohio.
Should friends desire, floral arrangements and gifts may be sent to the funeral home.
Arrangement were entrusted to the White Family Funeral Home of Bowie.
