The monthly Neighborhood Watch meeting took place on Tuesday with local police providing information on protecting yourself from theft and drug crimes.
New Neighborhood Watch Captain Dillon Steen welcomed the audience and thanked former captain Stephanie Post for her efforts and dedication. NW Lt. Kathy Adam also will be assisting Steen with the watch committee.
“We are dedicated to keeping this program rolling, growing and working together with our police department and citizens to make this program the best and most effective for all. Assistant Police Chief Kent Stagg and Detective Sgt. Bob Blackburn gave the program pointing out that theft and drug crimes often go hand-in-hand during the holiday season.
