315 exhibitors prepare for 2015 youth fair
There are 1,042 entries ready to compete in the 2015 Montague County Youth Fair Jan. 8-10 at the Nocona Agricultural Center and Nocona Community Center.
As the deadline came for entries in mid-December, the youth fair committee reports a total of 315 exhibitors for 1,042 entries across both livestock, shop and home economics divisions. Many of the 4-H, FFA and FCCLA members and students have multiple entries. Read more about the exhibitors and the schedule in the weekend Bowie News. Montague County Grand Jury issues November indicted cases
The following indictments were filed with the 97th District Clerk following the November session of the Montague County Grand Jury.
There were a total of 13 indictments with one sealed awaiting the arrest of a suspect.
A grand jury indictment is not evidence of guilt. All defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
