Paint the county blue to honor first responders

“Paint the county blue” is the theme for a July 18th candlelight and prayer vigil to show support for local law enforcement agencies and first responders.

This county-wide event will be at 7:30 p.m. at the Montague County Courthouse Veteran’s Memorial.

Guest speakers will include State Representative Drew Springer and Pastor Joe Caballero of the Montague County Cowboy Church.

T-shirts and water will be available for purchase with all proceeds going to the Peace Officers’ Angels Foundation, which assists all Texas peace officers injured in the line of duty.

Wear blue and attend to show your support for those who run toward danger protecting the citizens. For more information or to order a T-shirt call 894-2491.
