Otwell crowned Miss Jim Bowie Days 2017

Allison Otwell, a 14-year-old from Mineral Wells, was crowned Miss Jim Bowie Days 2017 during the final night of the rodeo Saturday.
Otwell is the daughter of Kim Otwell and is a freshman at Graham High School.
Bailey Goodin, Thornberry, was crowned Little Miss JBD. She is the 12-year-old daughter of J.C. and Courtney Goodin and is a seventh grader at Petrolia.
Jim Bowie Days wrapped up a week of activities that culminated on Friday and Saturday.
On Friday Linda Goodwin and Leo Orrell beat all comers in the Bowie Senior Citizens Center “42’ Tournament. Bill North and L. C. Smith placed second; and Don Hill and Bill Lawler were third place.
The afternoon opened with the Pioneer Royalty crowning and reception at Bowie High School.
