BASKETBALL TOURNAMENT NEWS: Forestburg girls play Chico this Thursday

The Forestburg Independent School District will have a boys’ and girls’ high school basketball tournament this Thursday through Saturday.
Forestburg’s boys will not play until 6 p.m. on Friday, squaring off against the loser of the game among the following schools: Wichita Christian, Valley View, Muenster Sacred Heart and Chico junior varsity.
The third-place game is set for noon on Saturday with the boys’ championship at 3 p.m. on the same day.
On the girls’ side, Forestburg will play Chico at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
The Lady Horns will play Wichita Christian at 4:30 p.m. on Friday and wrap up their activities taking on Muenster Sacred Heart at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday.
Head-to-head play will determine the champion.
A concession stand will be available.
For a one-day tournament pass, the charge will be $5 for adults and $3 for students. A tournament pass will cost $12 for adults and $8 for students.
