Saint Jo
The Saint Jo Lady Panthers went undefeated at the Munday tournament during the weekend to win the championship.
The Lady Panthers went 6-0 overall and did not lose a set as they dominated from start to finish.
In pool play on the first day, Saint Jo dominated the Texas Leadership of Abilene, Trent and Chillicothe, not dropping a set.
During bracket play on the final day, the Lady Panthers beat Xdot Academy and Quanah to reach the championship game.
There they played Woodson for the title and won with set scores 25-16 and 25-23.

Bowie
The Bowie Lady Rabbits were able to pick up a game on Friday against Burkburnett despite initially having an opening in the schedule.
The Lady Bulldogs won in straight sets 3-0 against the Lady Rabbits.
The teams already played a couple of weeks back in late August. Then Burkburnett won in four sets.
On Friday, all three sets were competitive, but the Lady Bulldogs were able to win by a comfortable margin with the scores being 25-16, 25-18 and 25-15.

Nocona
The Nocona Lady Indians lost a tough five-set match to last year’s 1A state runner-up Harrold at home on Friday.
The Lady Hornets won the back and forth match 3-2, with results changing wildly from set to set.
The Lady Indians were looking for a challenge against a program with state aspirations as well and were ready for the challenge.
Harrold won the first set commandingly 25-15. Nocona came back to win a slightly more competitive set 25-21 to tie the match at 1-1.
The Lady Hornets won the third set with little drama 25-18 to take the lead. The fourth set proved to be the closest of the match and could have gone either way.
The Lady Indians dug deep and won set four in extra points 27-25 to tie the match at 2-2 and force a fifth set.
Unfortunately, Nocona could not lean on the momentum from winning the fourth set. Harrold grabbed control and won 15-7.
The Lady Hornets won the match 3-2.

Bellevue
The Bellevue Lady Eagles lost a tough match against Archer City on Saturday.
The Lady Cats won in straight sets 3-0 against the Lady Eagles, but did play better as the match went along.
